Images are from a Third Thursday event at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Prior to the live print day, Kehayr Brown-Ransaw and Nancy Julia Hicks created a virtual lesson on poster design. Participants were encouraged to submit the result of their participation in the lesson and the public voted on the poster that would be printed on the day of the event. Poster shown on the right was designed by Isabel McLaughlin.

Images above are from a Walker Teen Takeover event in 2017, posters were designed by People’s Library members with the intent of institutional critique and focused on issues within museum spaces.

Images above are from the Great Whittier Get Together in the summer of 2018. Posters were designed by Jonathan Herrera-Soto and Candice Davis for the event--they were designed to be participatory, so that younger community members could color in or add to a map of their neighborhood.
